Gravity Cellars is set in the Moutere Hills in the sunny Tasman region. The winery was built in 2006 with the vision to make world class wines that inspire innovative thinking and opportunities to challenge the rules of traditional winemaking.   Our experienced Cellar Door team will take you on a wine tasting experience that showcases wine from our Nelson Winery Waimea. You will learn about the winemaking and philosophies and our wine brand including the unique winemaking process of a gravity fed winery.   If you decide to stay a little longer to soak up the sun & enjoy the stunning views over the Tasman Bay, we offer a selection of tasty & locally sourced platters with meats from The Sausage Press, cheese from Thorvald & Little River served with our very own olive oil.   The Moutere region is well known for its creativity in all mediums when it come to art. Make sure you stop at our local community Gallery run by local artists. You can watch the artist’s work while deciding on an artwork to remember your visit in Tasman in the years to come.   The art gallery is currently featuring Sarah Williams – Encaustic Painter & Peter Copp – Pastel Painter, just to name a few. The perfect way to spend an afternoon immersing yourself in local art, award winning local wine & food and stunning views!
